After some very straightforward wins over the West Indies Women earlier in the summer, this T20 series against India Women represents the first real test for Nat Scriver-Brunt as England captain.

Best Bet: Lauren Bell to be England Women top bowler @ 2/1
England Women suffered their worst ever T20 defeat at the hands of India Women last time out, thanks in large part to a batting collapse.
Pacewoman Lauren Bell did her job with figures of 3-27 and she looks worth siding with to be the hosts’ top wicket-taker once again in Bristol, a ground which tends to suit the faster bowlers.
She has at least one wicket in her last eight games and looks a solid pick to star once more.
Joe Casey explains:
Lauren Bell has a T20I bowling average of 17.68 and she is crucial to the home team’s attack as a result.
India Women not only won the first game between these two with ease, they also have captain Harmanpreet Kaur returning and they have won the last three T20 head-to-heads. Things could get worse before they get better for the hosts.
Opener Smriti Mandhana made an impressive 118 last time out but has gone over 30 in seven of her last nine innings and should do so once more.
Sophie Ecclestone is a former number one T20 bowler in the world and has taken 13 wickets in her last six games, so she is fancied for at least one.

Joe Casey adds:
England Women may struggle to put their record defeat behind them and India Women look the value selection to follow up.
