England's Test summer is about to draw to a close and they will be targeting a series clean sweep of Sri Lanka when the teams reconvene at the Oval, starting on Friday.
It has been a pretty straightforward summer for England's Test team, who reeled off a 4-0 win over the West Indies in July and have a 2-0 lead over Sri Lanka heading into the final match of their three-Test tussle this week.
England began the series with a five-wicket win over the Lankans at Old Trafford, overcoming a wobble in their second innings, but things were much easier at Lord's last time out as the hosts steamrolled to a 190-run triumph.
A series whitewash is now on the cards for England, who will hand seamer Josh Hull his debut in this final Test match with Matthew Potts dropping out of the team.
Gus Atkinson top match bowler - 4/1
Away from the irrepressible batting of Joe Root, the biggest talking point of England's Test team this summer has been the emergence of Gus Atkinson.
Atkinson made his Test debut for England only in July but has already taken 33 wickets in the format in just five matches.
He began his tenure with an impressive haul of 12 wickets against the West Indies in July, starring in James Anderson's final Test for his country, and he picked up seven upon his return to Lord's last time out.
The Oval is even more conducive to pace and there should be plenty of movement on offer given the overcast, albeit potentially rainy, conditions.
Atkinson can capitalise and given that five of his seven wickets at Lord's came in the second innings, the best way to back him is to be top match bowler overall at 4/1.
Chris Woakes will likely be his fiercest competitor in that market given the lack of Sri Lankan firepower with the ball and Atkinson should come out on top.
Dan Lawrence to score under 58.5 runs - 5/6
There have not exactly been any disastrous performances throughout this Test series for England but one player who would have been hoping for better is opener Dan Lawrence.
Lawrence has underperformed in this Test series so far, scoring 30 and 34 at Old Trafford before paltry returns of nine and seven in his two innings at Lord's last time out.
Ben Duckett picked things up a little at Lord's with a total of 64 runs scored but England's openers have not exactly set the series alight, meaning Root, Jamie Smith and even Atkinson have had to take up the slack further down the order.
Things look unlikely to get much better for Lawrence at the Oval, where he could fall short of his runs line of 58.5 runs.
Under 996.5 total match runs - 5/6
Punters not wanting to look at player bets might instead want to consider the total match runs market.
Both of the Test matches in this series so far have produced over 1,000 runs but the total could drop a fair bit at the Oval, where conditions will be favourable for the bowlers.
In the last six Test matches to take place at the Oval, there has been just one first-innings total of more than 300.
And despite their success in this series, England have surpassed the 400-runs mark in just one of their four innings, so do not necessarily expect any huge totals.
Punters are advised to go under the total match runs line of 996.5 at 5/6.
