England v India Fourth T20I Prediction

Best Bet: England opening partnership - Over 25.5 @ 10/11

India suffered their heaviest T20I defeat in terms of runs in Nottingham on Tuesday, when they were bowled out for 76 in just 11.4 overs.

England fast bowlers Josh Tongue and Jofra Archer shared seven wickets after openers Phil Salt and Jos Buttler had helped the hosts post a total of 201-7.

Buttler dominated their first-wicket stand of 45, scoring 36 off 21 balls, and Salt went on to top-score for England with 70 off 44.

Both players had been dismissed for ducks in the second T20I but they should be backed to give England a strong start in Bristol.

Buttler has made 34, 22 and 47 in three T20I innings at the County Ground and he finished the 2026 IPL season as one of the top 10 runscorers.

Alternative Bet: Harry Brook to hit most sixes for England @ 3/1

There should be plenty of sixes in Bristol, where the West Indies lost to England last summer despite hitting 15 maximums.

Harry Brook cleared the ropes twice in that game and England's white-ball captain looks a good bet to hit the most sixes for his side.

Brook struck a maximum in three of his last four innings in the Test series against New Zealand and looked in great touch in the second T20I.

Counter-attacking after the dismissals of Salt and Buttler in the first over, he thumped four fours and three sixes in a blistering knock of 39 off 15 balls.

Brook celebrated his promotion to number three in the T20 side by scoring 100 in February's T20 World Cup win against Pakistan and he poses a huge threat to struggling India.

England v India Fourth T20I Bet Builder Tip

  • England to win

  • Jacob Bethell 1+ six

  • Prince Yadav to be top India bowler

    Pays 10/1

England were ruthless in Tuesday's third T20I and they should be too strong for India, who suffered a shock 2-0 series defeat in Ireland last month.

Jacob Bethell hit three sixes in last summer's win over the West Indies in Bristol and he has struck 12 maximums in his last three T20I innings – all of which came against India.

Prince Yadav starred for Lucknow Super Giants in this year's IPL and has made a promising start to his international career, taking 3-22 against Ireland and 2-30 against England in his first two T20Is.

Tactics, Form and Team News

England named the same 11 for their victories in the second and third T20Is although young all-rounders Rehan Ahmed and James Coles are hoping for a chance in Bristol.

Fast bowlers Jofra Archer and Josh Tongue will be assessed after playing in the Test series against New Zealand. Saqib Mahmood, Sonny Baker and Luke Wood are the other pacemen in the squad.

Predicted lineup: 1 Phil Salt, 2 Jos Buttler (wk), 3 Harry Brook (c), 4 Jacob Bethell, 5 Tom Banton, 6 Sam Curran, 7 Will Jacks, 8 Liam Dawson, 9 Jofra Archer, 10 Adil Rashid, 11 Josh Tongue.

India could make changes after their chastening defeat at Trent Bridge. T20 World Cup hero Sanju Samson is an option to replace opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi or wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan, who bats at number three.

And all-rounders Suryansh Shedge and Washington Sundar may get opportunities instead of Shivam Dube and Axar Patel in the middle-order.

Predicted lineup: 1 Abhishek Sharma, 2 Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, 3 Sanju Samson (wk), 4 Shreyas Iyer (c), 5 Tilak Varma, 6 Suryansh Shedge, 7 Washington Sundar, 8 Harshit Rana, 9 Arshdeep Singh, 10 Varun Chakravarthy, 11 Prince Yadav.
