Chennai Super Kings' late-season surge took a hit with Friday's seven-wicket defeat to Lucknow Super Giants, but they can still secure a place in the play-offs by winning their final two games.
CSK currently lie in fifth place in the IPL standings, a point behind Punjab Kings directly above them and two behind their next opponents, Sunrisers Hyderabad, who will be no pushovers as they look to lock down a place in the top four.
Chennai are paying the price for a slow start to the campaign when they lost their opening three games, although winning six of their next nine has at least kept them in the running for the play-offs.
Hyderabad have plotted a similar path, losing three of their opening four games before surging up the standings on the back of a five-match winning run.
However, the Sunrisers are looking to bounce back after being dismissed for 86 in their most recent outing, a second defeat in their last three games, against Gujarat Titans.
Best Bet: Chennai Super Kings to win @ 11/10
Alternative Bet - Heinrich Klaasen Sunrisers Hyderabad top batter @ 15/4
Bet Builder Tip - Anshul Kamboj 2+ wickets, Sanju Samson over 24.5 runs & Abhishek Sharma 20+ runs @ 6/1
Best Bet: Chennai Super Kings to win @ 11/10
Sunrisers won the season's first meeting between the two but only narrowly by 10 runs with home advantage, so Chennai look good value to exact revenge.
The Super Kings have won six of their last nine games, while they have been particularly dominant of late, recording victory margins of 103 runs, two by eight wickets and one by five wickets in their last four wins.
They do go into this on the back of a defeat but so too do Sunrisers, who were dismissed for a mere 86 in their chase of 168-5 against Titans last time out, while the hosts have won five of their last six games against Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
With their play-off lives very much on the line, CSK look good value as the outsiders to record an upset win and take their destiny to the final game.
Alternative Bet: Heinrich Klaasen Sunrisers Hyderabad top batter @ 15/4
There is plenty of firepower in the SRH batting line-up and Heinrich Klaasen looks a tempting price to top score for the side given his overall consistency, not to mention his big-hitting capabilities.
Klaasen leads the side as well as rank fifth in the IPL having smashed 508 runs at an average of 50.80, having played one less innings than all but one of those above him in the standings, while batting a little lower down the order too.
While some of his team-mates have been a little more hit and miss, Klaasen has rarely failed this season, top-scoring with 69 in the recent win over Punjab Kings as one of his five half-centuries so far.
Only two bowlers have taken more wickets than Anshul Kamboj up to this point and his tally of 19 scalps includes seven multi-wicket games out of 12, including figures of 3-22 in the first meeting against Hyderabad.
Sanju Samson is the only batter to have scored two centuries so far this season and, although he has had his ups and downs, recent innings of 87 not out, 28 and 20 suggest he is finding his form once again.
Abhishek Sharma has had a great season so far, amassing 481 runs at an average of 43.72 and staggering strike rate of 209.13.
He has registered recent scores of 59, 135 not out, 57, 45, 15, 35 and 6 and 20 looks well within his reach after registering a half-century in the first game against Chennai.
