Doncaster won 10 of their final 12 games to seal a place in the League Two play-offs and Rovers' reward for their late-season surge is a semi-final tie with Crewe.
But while Donny finished the regular season with a rattle, the Railwaymen ended with a whimper, winning just two of their final dozen league outings in comparison.
Crewe v Doncaster will be shown live on Sky Sports Football, Main Event & Ultra HDR.
The League Two play-off semi-final will kick off at 17:30 BST on Monday 6th May at the Mornflake Stadium in Crewe.
