'Bud' has held world titles in three different weight classes and he was the undisputed light welterweight champion prior to making the step up to the welterweight division after claiming a third-round KO of Julius Indongo during their unification bout in August 2017.

The Nebraskan then beat Horn to land the WBO welterweight title and has since dispatched Khan, Brook, Benavidez Jr, Egidijus Kavaliauskas and most recently Shawn Porter to retain that belt.
