Six runners have been confirmed for the Grade 1 Champion Chase at Punchestown on Tuesday 29th April.
Two excellent winners at this year's Cheltenham Festival will clash on the opening day of the Punchestown Festival, as Champion Chase winner Marine Nationale and Ryanair Chase winner Fact To File headline the declarations.
Sean Flanagan will be on board Marine Nationale once again, while Mark Walsh takes the ride on the Willie Mullins-trained Fact To File, who will surely be aimed at the Gold Cup next season.
Mullins also has El Fabiolo at his disposal and he will be hoping that he can bounce back from his fall in the Melling Chase.
Rachael Blackmore will be hoping for more success for Captain Guinness, who was a surprise winner of the Champion Chase at last year's Cheltenham Festival.
An excellent field of six is completed by multiple Grade 1 winner Solness and Vincent Halley's Senecia.
