The CONCACAF Gold Cup will consist of 16 teams, in which they will be separated into four groups of four.
The top two teams from every group will advance to the quarter-final knockout stage, followed by two semi-finals and a final to declare the winner.
Should the scores remain level after a game at the knockout stage, extra time will be played for two periods of 15 minutes each. If the two sides still can't be separated, a penalty shoot-out will take place.
