Chelsea's Cole Palmer is 5/1 for most assists and 8/1 to win PFA Player of the Year after his four-goal masterclass against Brighton.
Palmer defied all expectations in his debut season at Stamford Bridge as one of the very few positives in West London last term, notching a whopping 22 goals and 11 assists, with only Erling Haaland scoring more goals and only Ollie Watkins registering more assists.
When taking penalties out of the equation, Palmer 'only' found the net 13 times, and the question was whether he could pick up where he left off with more new teammates and a new manager at Stamford Bridge in the form of Enzo Maresca.
The gifted Palmer has quickly been able to quell any question marks regarding his ability to sustain the form shown in his debut season at Chelsea, with the England international enjoying a terrific start to the 2024/25 campaign for the Blues.
The Manchester City academy graduate's record-breaking four goals in the first half of Chelsea's 4-2 victory over Brighton highlighted a player at the very top of his game, with further individual accolades perhaps in store for Palmer by the time the season is out.
