Chelsea v Leicester City stats and head-to-head record (H2H)

Hosts Chelsea head into this FA Cup quarter-final clash against Leicester off the back of an important 3-2 win at home to Newcastle in the Premier League, but the Blues had only mustered three victories in their previous nine matches in all competitions prior to Monday's triumph.

Languishing in 11th place in the Premier League, the domestic cup competitions have provided this Chelsea side with some much needed salvation this term with the Blues having reached the EFL Cup final and now hunting down a place in the FA Cup semis.

Chelsea knocked out Preston, Aston Villa and Leeds United to reach the quarter-finals stage.

This weekend's visitors Leicester City have suffered somewhat of a wobble in form of late, with the Championship leaders recently losing three league matches in a row to see their promotion rivals close in on them at the summit of England's second tier.

Enzo Maresca's side have recovered with a win and a draw in their last two outings against Sunderland and Hull City, however, and perhaps a distraction in the form of an FA Cup tie against Chelsea will be welcomed by the Foxes.

Leicester City have beaten Millwall, Birmingham City and Bournemouth to reach the last eight of this year's FA Cup.
