Danish goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen is reportedly set to leave Chelsea after spending two seasons at Stamford Bridge.
Jorgensen has reportedly departed the club's pre-season tour of Australia early as he closes in on a move to Chelsea's BlueCo sister club Strasbourg.
Mike Penders served as the Ligue 1 side's No 1 last season, but the towering Belgian has since returned to Stamford Bridge - opening the door for Jorgensen to go the other way.
According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, negotiations surrounding salary conditions are being finalised and the transfer is expected to be officially announced in the coming days.
Newly-promoted Coventry City had also been linked with a move, but it appears that their hunt for a new goalkeeper will go on as Jorgensen looks set to make the move to Alsace.
Jorgensen arrived at Stamford Bridge from Villarreal in the summer of 2024 in a deal said to have been worth in excess of £20million.
In his maiden season at the club Jorgensen was largely used as a backup to Robert Sanchez by then-manager Enzo Maresca, but was given a starting berth in cup competitions.
In Chelsea's UEFA Conference League win that year the young Dane played in 11 of their 12 games en route to the final, before starting the 4-1 win over Real Betis in Wroclaw.
He once again played second fiddle to Sanchez last season, and a potential Premier League run in March was curtailed as he was forced to undergo groin surgery.
In all, Jorgensen - who represented Sweden at youth level before switching international allegiance to Denmark - made a total of 36 appearances for the Blues in all competitions and was also part of the Club World Cup-winning team last summer.
