Our resident boxing insider Rob Tebbutt looks ahead to this weekend's European cruiserweight title showdown between Cheavon Clarke and Leonardo Mosquea and reveals where he feels the betting value lies.
Cheavon Clarke faces Leonardo Mosquea for the vacant European cruiserweight title on Saturday night, with the British cruiserweight contender inching closer to a world title shot.
Odds-on favourite Clarke has impressed in 2024 with his high energy style, but looked less-than-convincing last time out against Efetor Apochi back in August.
However, Mosquea, while undefeated, will be making a sizeable jump up in quality against Clarke and I feel we’ll see the Brit back to his best.
I expect Clarke to be too sharp for Mosquea and feel ‘plus money’ on him to win by stoppage at 6/4 represents very solid value.
