Charlton Athletic are looking to conclude a deal to sign AFC Wimbledon winger Junior Nkeng.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke has reported that the Charlton are in talks to complete the signing before tonight's transfer deadline.
A number of clubs in England and across Europe were believed to be in for the winger during the summer, but it is the Addicks who have moved to the front of the queue.
Born in Barcelona, Nkeng progressed through the academy at AFC Wimbledon after starting out at Tottenham Hotspur.
He enjoyed a breakthrough campaign for the League One side last season, making 30 appearances in all competitions.
The 19-year-old was on the radar of Championship sides Norwich City, Millwall and Queens Park Rangers, while Nottingham Forest were also mooted as a potential destination.
If a deal is finalised, Nkeng will be looking to break into the Charlton first team in the coming weeks as Nathan Jones' side look to build on an excellent start to the new season.
