Charlton Athletic are reportedly interested in signing midfielder Jordan Holsgrove from Portuguese Primeira Liga outfit Estoril.
Holsgrove progressed through the youth academy at Reading and his career has taken an unorthodox route in recent years.
The Scottish midfielder had spells with Celta in Spain, Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal and Greek giants Olympiacos before joining Estoril in 2014.
In his two-and-a-half seasons at the club, Holsgrove has made 83 appearances and scored four goals.
The former Scottish under 21 international's performances have reportedly caught the eye of a number of clubs.
Journalist Mike McGrath has reported that Charlton are amongst four Championship clubs who are monitoring the player this summer.
It is also claimed that Holsgrove is the subject of interest from Germany, with Werder Bremen keeping tabs on the situation.
Manager Nathan Jones is looking to push on this season after Charlton made their return to the Championship in the 2025/26 campaign.
He will want the Addicks to be challenging for a top-half finish and the possible signing of Holsgrove would provide him with another strong option in midfielder.
Holsgrove is a versatile midfielder who possesses excellent technical ability and he is also very capable with his delivery from set-plays.
