While the Premier League season handicap market is always popular with punters, bet365 also offer betting on the Championship, League One and League Two.
While the likes of Lincoln, Charlton and Bolton won't be harbouring ambitions of successive promotions, the season handicap puts all 24 teams on a level playing field.
Lincoln are given a 36-point head start with West Ham at the other end of the table off scratch.
Speaking on the Football Betting Club podcast, pro football bettor Nick Goff has picked out a couple of teams he likes in the season handicap market, and is particularly bullish on one Welsh club.
"The tie-up Swansea City have this year with a company called Jamestown Analytics, the public aren't really all over at the moment. Over the last few years, they've helped with strategic recruitment advice to one club in each EFL league and other leagues across Europe and across the world.
"It's all been, not kept quiet as such, but it hasn't been played out to the extent that it really should be. Last year, the three teams they helped were Ipswich who got promoted, Stockport who got to the play-offs and Grimsby who got to the play-offs.
"It's a real advantage to have them on board and because Ipswich have gone up, the Championship arrangement became available and Swansea are the club who've benefited from it and I think that tie-up alone will help them to improve.
"They were a bit better than their results suggested at the back end of last season anyway and now there's eight places available, if a club move out of mid table and in to the top eight, Swansea at 7/2 top 8 I like.
"bet365 have top Welsh club, Cardiff coming into the league, I think staying up is as high as they'll be looking. That then becomes becomes Swansea against Wrexham. Maybe the movie star boys can drop another £20m before the deadline, but as it stands, I don't have much between them and you can bet Swansea at 2/1 in the top Welsh club market.
"One other team I want to mention in a top eight race at a much bigger price as a bit of a flyer because they're more in a relegation battle than a top eight one is Portsmouth. Every single game I looked at them last season someone was telling me they've got 10 players out injured. Every week they had a massive injury crisis and they still stayed up with a bit to spare and seemed to be better than their points total.
"The manager's going into his third season and I think he's quite good and if they got off to a good start they might surprise people. There's some high upside for them.
"In the season handicap I like Swansea +26 as well as Portsmouth +29."
