The end of season Championship playoffs are a knockout tournament between the teams that finish third, fourth, fifth and sixth in the Championship.

Two-legged semi-finals are contested as the teams that finish third and sixth meet, while the fourth-placed team will take on the fifth-placed team.

The two winners of the semi-finals meet in the final, with the winner of the final winning promotion to the Premier League.

When are the 2024 Championship Playoffs?

The 2024 Championship Playoffs will take place in May 2024 at the end of the regular season.

The semi-final first legs will take on Sunday 12th May and Monday 13th May, with the return legs taking place on Thursday 16th May and Friday 17th May.
