Saturday's Central Park Greyhound Betting Tips and Odds

21:11 Central Park - El Tornillo @ 11/8

20:36 Central Park - Newinn Benni @ 13/8

Derek Knight's Sussex Cup finalist did us a big favour last week and the talented speedster can dominate rivals from the outset again over the 491m at Central Park.

Punters must look to the outside in the first of the three semi-finals for the Category One event, with local hope Cinderella Tell the big danger from trap five.

But NEWINN BENNI dons his beloved striped jacket of trap six and can steal a march on that rival from the boxes and book his place into next week's decider.

20:54 Central Park - King Memphis @ 1/4

Liz McNair's superstar maintained his unbeaten record since returning to action and equalled his own track record when clocking the fastest time in the opening round last week. He is still not anywhere near his best but he is open to improvement - which is daunting for his rivals in this competition.

McNair and her team decided to lay off their star after his run to the final of this year's Greyhound Derby over the summer and he has only just returned to action.

Improvement will come and, with a better exit this week, his track record will be under pressure this weekend.

Romford raider Droopys Display is lightly raced and caught the eye staying on for second in his heat last week, he can do some good late work again this weekend and is the forecast link.

21:11 Central Park - El Tornillo @ 11/8

Ante-post favourite for the Kent Derby, King Memphis, stole all of the headlines but Dave Lee's in-form tracker was just three spots behind on the clock and is a big player for outright honours.

He can sail into next week's big final with another smooth victory off the front in the second semi-final. His claims are already crystal clear but following the withdrawal of Keylogues Runner from trap three - directly inside him - the door is now wide open for EL TORNILLO to score.

Main danger and other early pacer Droopys Doughnut will need to clear El Tornillo at the opening bend and isn't the most consistent at the start, which will likely result in the Oxford track record holder getting a soft lead and he can put the contest to bed down the far side.

Classy and versatile rival Havana Top Note is well drawn tucked away on the inside in trap one, he can wind up a challenge from halfway and is the forecast play to stay on past beaten rivals.
