Celebrity Big Brother returns to UK screens on Monday 4th March, with ITV taking the reins for the first series since 2018.
The six-year wait follows the success of the 'civilian version', which came back after five years away and was won by Jordan Sangha, who beat Olivia Young to be crowned winner of Big Brother 20.
Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas was the last winner of the Celebrity version, Series 22, in 2018.
Although the official line-up is still to be confirmed, the below are expected to feature:
Nikita Kuzmin
David Potts
Bradley Riches
Zeze Millz
Marisha Wallace
Colson Smith
Fern Britton
Louis Walsh
Lauren Simon
Gary Goldsmith
Ekin-Su Culculoglu
Levi Roots
Sharon Osbourne
Celebrity Big Brother has moved around the calendar since its debut on UK screens in 2001, with previous series taking place in January, March, August and November.
The 2024 version is due to start on Monday 4th March and will run through until the final, the 17th episode of the series, on Sunday 22nd March.
The launch show for series 24 will be aired at 21:00. The listings suggest that will be its regular slot in the schedule.
Celebrity Big Brother will be filmed at the same house used for the civilian series, located at Garden Studios in Brent, North London.
Speaking ahead of last year's series, ITV commissioning editor Peter Tierney boldly described the accommodation as 'the best Big Brother UK house ever and potentially one of the best anywhere in the world'.
It provides the usual multi-use indoor living spaces and a garden featuring a jacuzzi and patio-style sitting area.
The Big Brother franchise was previously filmed at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
While housemates will be evicted by the public as ever, there has been a change to the 2024 format, with viewers now voting to save their favourite housemate, rather than evict their least favourite.
With the series taking place over the course of just over a fortnight, there will be two live evictions per week.
Celebrity Big Brother will be shown on ITV2 and ITVX after the broadcaster revived the format in the UK last year.
The first ever UK series of Celebrity Big Brother was aired on Channel 4, with help from BBC One due to a tie-in with Comic Relief, in 2001, and it stayed there until hopping to Channel 5 in time for the 2011 edition.
After five years away, ITV brought Big Brother back last year and has decided to build on that momentum by adding a Celebrity series shown across ITV2 and ITVX.
After the inaugural transmission in 2001, won by comedian Jack Dee, who beat actress Claire Sweeney to the prize, this will be the 23rd series of Celebrity Big Brother.
As well as the standard format of housemates spending time working together and sometimes against each other, there have been twists.
In 2008, there was a one-off 'Celebrity Hijack' series, which saw a change to the format, where one of the contestants took charge of his fellow housemates, deciding on tasks and activities.
Ryan Thomas won the last series in 2018, finishing ahead of late American actress Kirstie Alley.
