Derek Carr found his "sweet spot" in Las Vegas after the Raiders reportedly agreed a three-year contract extension with their long-time starter that makes him the fifth-highest paid quarterback in the NFL in terms of average annual salary.
Talks between Carr, who is 33/1 to land the NFL regular season MVP award, and the Raiders had been ongoing for a while.
New head coach Josh McDaniels said last month that he hoped the two sides would find that "sweet spot" in negotiations for a contract extension this offseason and so it has transpired.
Carr remains a Raider until 2025
Carr's three-year extension is worth $121.5million, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo, and ties him to the organisation until the end of the 2025 season.
He appeared to have the upper hand in negotiations given the asking-price for a top-end quarterback via a trade had been set at three first-round picks after the Denver Broncos brought in Russell Wilson and the Cleveland Browns acquired Deshaun Watson.

The 31-year-old was also coming off a stellar year in which he set the franchise's single-season record for passing yards (4,804) and almost single-handedly dragged the Raiders into the play-offs.
Carr still has his critics and they will believe him to be the least impressive starter in the AFC West, where Wilson's arrival in Denver should spark some shoot-outs with Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers' Justin Herbert.
The Raiders appear ready to challenge all of them after adding Carr's former college team-mate Davante Adams - considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the league - to their roster last month.
