The Caribbean Premier League is an annual T20 cricket tournament which takes place across the Caribbean, with six franchise teams featuring the best players from the West Indies.
The league started in 2013 and takes place every autumn. Now in it's twelfth season, it is regarded as the most popular Twenty20 competition in the region.
The Caribbean Premier League starts on Friday 30th August with the league stage continuing until the 30th September.
The play-off stage then begins on 2nd October with the final scheduled for Monday 7th October.
The Caribbean Premier League is made up of six franchise teams from across the Caribbean.

The tournament will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports Cricket in the UK.
There are seven venues used for the Caribbean Premier League's six franchises throughout the season, with the play-offs and final se to take place in Guyana at the Providence Stadium.

The Caribbean Premier League is played across two stages, the group stage and the knockout stage.
Six teams compete in 10 matches each in the group stage, before the highest ranked four teams progress to the play-offs.
The sides then compete in two semi-finals, one played between the two highest ranked teams from the group stage, and another 'Eliminator' match between the teams ranked third and fourth.
The winner of the first semi-final progresses to the final, while the loser plays the winner of the eliminator to determine who will take the remaining final place.
Five franchises have won the Caribbean Premier League, with the Trinbago Knight Riders holding the most titles with four.
The current defending champions of the Caribbean Premier League are the Guyana Amazon Warriors.
