The Conservatives look set to retake power in Canada for the first time since losing the 2015 election with the nation set to go to the polls in October 2025.

Justin Trudeau led the Liberal Party to minority governments in 2019 and 2021, and while polling between the Liberals and Conservatives was close in March 2023, the Tories now have a lead of around 20 points.
The Liberal Party have won three straight elections but look set to be ousted by the Conservatives, led by Pierre Poilievre, who are heavy favourites to win in 2025.
