Britain's Cameron Norrie is through to the quarter-finals at SW19 after a thrilling five-set victory over Chilean qualifier Nicolas Jarry.
Norrie, the last Brit standing across both of the singles draws in 2025, was delighted to be playing on Court 1 once again and he produced some sensational tennis to record a 6-3 7-6 6-7 6-7 6-3 success and book a place against either Andrey Rublev or Carlos Alcaraz in the last eight.
The left-hander showed great character after failing to capitalise on having a match point in the third set tiebreak, and then losing a fourth set tiebreak, to bounce back and take the fifth set to delight the home crowd.
This is a second appearance in a Wimbledon quarter-final for the 29-year-old, who made it all the way to the last four before losing to Novak Djokovic in 2022.
After dropping down the rankings in the last couple of years, it has been a really encouraging 2025 for Norrie and he has built on an impressive run to the fourth round of the French Open in the last Grand Slam.
While many British tennis fans will have been hanging their hopes on Jack Draper this year, it's Norrie who has efficiently gone about his business during the first week and will strongly believe he has a chance of pushing Rublev or Alcaraz all the way if he can replicate the performances he has been producing.
