League One side Cambridge United will hope to produce a first round EFL Cup upset on home soil on Tuesday when they play host to Queens Park Rangers.
Both sides were on the end of disappointing results on the opening day of the new campaign with Cambridge being beaten by Stockport County and QPR slipping to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion.
Cambridge United v QPR will be shown on Sky Sports+.
The EFL Cup first-round tie is set to kick off at 19:45 (BST) on Tuesday 13th August and will be played at Cledara Abbey Stadium, Cambridge.
Both sides will be looking for their first wins of the season after succumbing to defeats in their EFL openers on Saturday.
QPR, who ended the 2023/24 campaign in decent form, were comprehensively beaten 3-1 by West Bromwich Albion on home turf, whilst Cambridge United lost 2-0 to League One newcomers Stockport County.
In terms of head-to-heads, both sides have registered four victories from the ten all-time meetings, with the other two encounters ending in stalemate.
