Wolves heaped further misery on under pressure Burnley boss Nicky Hayen as they come from behind to defeat the Clarets 2-1 at Turf Moor.
It was the hosts who opened the scoring as Jamie Vardy got a sighting of goal in the early exchanges and the veteran striker made no mistake on the second occasion, latching onto a pass from Jacob Bruun Larsen before dispatching with a textbook finish under Jose Sa for his first Burnley goal.
The breakthrough rattled Wolves, and while they dominated the ball, they lacked substance in the final third. That was until a Kyle Walker mistake enabled Sean Neave to pounce and the on-loan forward picked out Fer Lopez unmarked in the penalty area who produced a timely equaliser.
It was a goal that shifted momentum into Wolves' favour and Cesar Peixoto's side tested the reflexes of Clarets shot-stopper Gregoire Coudert, who produced three important saves early in the second half to thwart the visitors.
Wolves struggled to carve a second when they were presented a gilt-edged opportunity from a wretched Igor touch, which allowed Matues Mane to slip Tawanda Chirewa through on goal and the substitute found the back of the net just 21 seconds after his introduction.
The result leaves Burnley above the relegation zone on goal difference, while Wolves climb up to sixth, level on points with Birmingham, QPR and local rivals West Brom.
