Burnley's Scott Parker era got off to a flying start as the Clarets thumped four past Luton Town on the opening weekend of the new Championship season last weekend, and they will look to build upon that against Cardiff City on Saturday.
Goals from Josh Brownhill, Wilson Odobert, Dara O'Shea and Vitinho ensured a perfect start to the 2024/25 campaign for the second-tier new boys, who will now look to make it two wins from two against the Bluebirds.
Cardiff were beaten 2-0 by Sunderland in their curtain-raiser, but did bounce back with a 2-0 triumph of their own at home to Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup in midweek.

The Clarets have won three and drawn four of their last seven meetings with Cardiff, including a 3-0 success the last time the pair met in May last year.

Sander Berge, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, missed out against Luton Town last weekend, and his participation on Saturday appears in question too.
Winger Luca Koleosho is also rated as doubtful after limping out of the action at Kenilworth Road last time out, although it's believed his injury isn't as serious as first feared.
The Bluebirds suffered a major injury blow during the warm-up before their cup victory over Bristol Rovers on Tuesday, with midfielder David Turnbull suffering a groin injury which could see him on the sidelines for up to six weeks.
Cardiff boss Erol Bulut will also make a late decision on the availability of Callum Robinson following a knock to his Achilles last weekend, whilst summer arrival Anwar El Ghazi remains absent.
