After his US Open win in 2024, Bryson DeChambeau is 7/2 to win a major in 2025.
While the US Open is typically the toughest test in golf, demanding an unflappable temperament, long and accurate driving, strong iron play, a good short game and a warm putter, it might not seem like the most natural fit for DeChambeau.
Nevertheless, it's the major he's won twice, managing to overpower Winged Foot and Pinehurst.
Interestingly, he only has five major top-10s outside of his two wins. Despite infamously referring to Augusta National as a par-67, DeChambeau has one top 10 at the US Masters, despite it being a course that overwhelmingly favours long drivers and doesn't overly punish waywardness off the tee.
The US PGA Championship also typically favours long hitters, and DeChambeau has had a moderate degree of success there, finishing fourth, 38th, fourth and second in his last four outings.
The Open has traditionally proved to be too tough to overpower, with long fescue rough gobbling up wayward tee shots, but DeChambeau will certainly fancy his chances in the year's first three majors.
