Bryson DeChambeau found himself in the middle of a furore on Saturday evening during his 3&2 defeat to Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose alongside Scottie Scheffler.
On the 15th hole, Rose was lining up a long birdie putt, and asked DeChambeau's caddie to step off the green while lining up his putt.
After holing the birdie putt, Rose and Gregory Bodine cleared the air to confirm there was no issue, with Rose explaining things from his side and Bodine seemingly accepting the explanation.
DeChambeau then had a lengthy putt of his own to extend the match, which he holed, before confronting the European duo over the affair.
Scheffler's caddie Ted Scott then got involved, confronting European vice-captain Francesco Molinari.
With tempers running high as the players walked to the next tee, DeChambeau was told to 'chill out' by Fleetwood's caddie Ian Finnis.
Perhaps realising he'd misread the situation and over-reacted, DeChambeau seemed keen to re-focus on the golf, and it's thought there were a series of apologies after the group's tee shots on the 16th.
It's unclear what DeChambeau took umbrage with; his caddie was walking in front of Rose as he was lining up a putt, and the pair seemed to have moved past the incident quickly.
Rose and Fleetwood were the stars of Saturday's four-ball session, combining for 11 birdies in 15 holes, going on to win 3&2 to move Europe a point closer to victory.
