Quite comfortably Manchester United's best player for some time now, Fernandes is made for the UEFA Champions League stage that his club has yet again failed occupy for another season.

Making a direct contribution to 36 goals in all competitions in 2024/25, United's dismal campaign would have been a lot worse without their captain.

With two years remaining on his current deal, Fernandes appears likely to remain at Old Trafford but a move to the Saudi Pro League had been rumoured.
