The latest odds for the 2024 English Open as the biggest names in world snooker congregate at the Centaur in Cheltenham this week.
(Odds will display when the market is available)
Neil Robertson is amongst the favourites to capture the coveted British Open title this weekend after securing his first ranking crown in over two years.
The Australian star, who famously won the World Snooker Championship back in 2010, survived a stunning fightback from China's Wu Yize on Sunday evening to reign supreme at the English Open in Brentwood, Essex.
Robertson ascertained what appeared to be an insurmountable 8-2 lead in the showpiece final, only for Wu to blitz back into contention by reeling off five successive frames.
The Thunder from Down under managed to hold his nerve to record victory, and earn himself the £100,000 top-prize, however, and is expected to go deep in Cheltenham this week on the back of his triumph.
Judd Trump - the winner of this season's Shanghai Masters and Saudi Arabia Snooker masters events - is the current favourite to add the British Open crown to his ever-growing list of titles, whilst reigning World Champion Kyren Wilson is also high in the betting.
Welshman Mark Williams does boast recent winning pedigree in Cheltenham though - having won the event in 2021 and 2023 - although he was surprisingly dumped from the competition on the opening day of play, ending his hopes of completing a British Open hat-trick this year.
