Following four consecutive seasons of Max Verstappen supremacy, Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell will be looking to end the Dutchman's reign in the 2025 Formula 1 season.

One of the major talking points ahead of the new Formula 1 season is Hamilton's switch to Ferrari after the seven-time world champion concluded his illustrious stint with Mercedes at the end of the 2024 campaign.
Concerns were raised over Hamilton's form in the latter races but with a fresh challenge and the honour of representing F1's most decorated team, the 39-year-old is expected to cut a reinvigorated figure in the New Year.
What will aid his quest for an eighth title is the competitiveness of the Ferrari SF-25 and if its predecessor is anything to go by, Ferrari are predicted to battle for race victories alongside 2024 constructors champions McLaren.
Following the Austrian Grand Prix at the end of June, no driver amassed more points than Norris, who added victories in Zandvoort, Singapore and Abu Dhabi to his maiden triumph in Miami.
Ultimately Norris' pursuit of Verstappen proved a bridge too far with the Red Bull driver demonstrating his class to preserve his championship advantage, but McLaren's almighty improvement suggests Norris has the tools to go one better than his second-placed finish when the lights go out at Albert Park in March.
George Russell picked up two wins in 2024 and with the former Williams driver now inheriting number one status at Mercedes, he will be hoping to lead the Silver Arrows to an improved showing in 2025.
