British and Irish Lions Tour 2025: Schedule & results

The British & Irish Lions head to Australia for their 38th tour to face a Wallabies side who struggled for consistency in 2024.

The British and Irish Lions Tour unites historic rivals Wales, Scotland, England and Ireland for a summer tour every four years.

Led by Ireland's Head Coach, Andy Farrell, the British & Irish Lions will look to secure back-to-back series wins over Australia after 2013's 2-1 victory under Warren Gatland.

A tour victory for the Lions would be their first since that 2013 tour, following a draw and a loss to New Zealand in 2017 and South Africa in 2021 respectively.

Their opponents, led by New Zealander (and former Irish Head Coach) Joe Schmidt, will look to continue their rebuild following a dismal showing at Rugby World Cup 2023.

The Lions head into the tour as heavy favourites, but you can never count out the Wallabies as a serious threat.

British and Irish Lions Tour 2025 - Dates and schedule

The 2025 British and Irish Lions Tour will feature three official Test matches and six Pre-Test matches as well as a warm up against Argentina in Dublin.

• 9th July 2025 - ACT Brumbies v British and Irish Lions (GIO Stadium, Canberra)
• 12th July 2025 - Invitational Australia & New Zealand v British and Irish Lions (Adelaide Oval, Adelaide)
• 19th July 2025 - Australia v British and Irish Lions (Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane)*
• 22nd July 2025 - Melbourne Pre-Test (TBC) v British and Irish Lions (Marvel Stadium, Melbourne)*
• 27th July 2025 - Australia v British and Irish Lions (MCG, Melbourne)
• 2nd August 2025 - Australia v British and Irish Lions (Accor Stadium, Sydney)*
