Ahead of its 18th series in 2025, Britain's Got Talent is gearing up for a major shake-up and some fresh blood on the judging panel.
Here is everything you need to know about the 2025 series of Britain's Got Talent.
The 18th series of Britain's Got Talent is expect to begin in February 2025.
Reports suggest the show is set for a format revamp which will see it run for up to four months from February to May 2025, as opposed to its usual running time of around seven weeks between April and June.
This change is viewed as a ploy from ITV to fill the void left by Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, with the Geordie presenters announcing they were taking a break from their much-loved show following its 20th series in 2024.
Each episode in the new series will air on Saturday nights, as opposed to the usual schedule of both Saturday and Sunday evenings.
The five semi-finals and final will also air on Saturday nights, rather than the typical spread across one week.
The existing Britain's Got Talent judging panel of Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli are expected to return for the 2025 series.
However, it has been announced that social media megastar KSI will fill in for Bruno Tonioli in some of the auditions episodes due to the Italian's commitments to American show Dancing with the Stars.
KSI, a popular YouTuber, rapper and influencer boxer, has been selected in an attempt to attract a new audience to the hit ITV show.
Britain's Got Talent will once again be available to watch in the United Kingdom on ITV and ITVX in 2025.
The prize for winning Britain's Got Talent is £250,000 and a slot on the Royal Variety Performance Show.
