Brighterdaysahead will not take on Constitution Hill in the Aintree Hurdle according to his trainer, Gordon Elliott.
Billed as an epic three-way clash between Constitution Hill, Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead, Thursday's Aintree Hurdle will be without the latter.
The Punchestown Festival will instead be the target for the Elliott-trained mare, who was last seen finishing a disappointing fourth in the Champion Hurdle.
The change of plan means that Brighterdaysahead will likely bump into her Cheltenham Festival conqueror Golden Ace, who is also primed for a run at the meeting.
Constitution Hill remains the 4/6 favourite for Thursday's Grade 1 event.
