With the 2025 Brazilian Serie A campaign set to start on 29th March, the betting odds market remains relatively open, with a number of teams looking to add to their trophy cabinet.

Botafogo won their first Brazilian Serie A since 1995 when they lifted the title in the 2024 campaign, though retaining the trophy may prove a harder job than winning it. They are priced as third favourites to earn back-to-back honours.

It's no surprise to see Flamengo lead the way as favourites for the title, having won the competition on seven occasions.

While initially being named as interim head coach, former Flamengo player Filipe Luis was given the role as manager until the end of the 2025 calendar year, and he will be looking to win the club's first Brazilian Serie A since the 2020 season.

Palmeiras, the most successful club in the competition with 12 titles, are slightly behind Flamengo in the betting odds, with the Sao Paulo-based side finishing six points behind champions Botafogo in second last term.

Internacional, Corinthians and Cruzeiro are also near the top of the betting to win the Brazilian Serie A, while Santos remain an outside shout despite the addition of returning hero Neymar Jr.
