We spoke with the featherweight southpaw about her favourite fighters, her boxing career to date and aspirations for the future:
Who are your favourite fighters of all time that have inspired you?
No fighters in particular have inspired me. My favourite fighters at the moment are Shakur Stevenson and Josh Taylor.
What has been your favourite fight in your career so far?
Beating Skye Nicolson for the Olympic Bronze medal in 2020.
What would you say is your best attribute in boxing?
High work rate, eye-catching shots.
Do you have have any interesting pre-fight rituals/ superstitions?
I have a cold shower and have to make sure the room I'm staying in is spotless before leaving.
What is your ultimate goal in boxing?
To become world champion, make lots of money and leave the sport safe and healthy.

No particular music artists, but I like Biggie, Stormzy, J Cole, 50 Cent. Old rap and R&B really.

Karriss Artingstall will make her return to the ring against Brazilian Lila dos Santos Furtado in Liverpool on 20th January as part of the undercard for Natasha Jonas and Mikaela Mayer's world title fight.
