Just days away from Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron's long-awaited rematch, the round dispute remains, but the British Boxing Board of Control ensure that there is still time to resolve the matter.
Ben Whittaker and Liam Cameron get set to meet in the ring for a second time on Sunday 20th April, but major doubt has been cast over the fight due to a dispute over the length of the fight.
Their first fight was brought to a halt when Olympic silver medallist Whittaker was unable to continue, due to injury, after both fighters fell over the top rope and out of the ring in the fifth round, but will the scheduled rematch even be given the chance to get to this stage?
While we are yet to receive clarification on the solution, the British Boxing Board of Control ensures that there is still time to resolve the issue.
Robert Smith, the general secretary of the BBBoC, told Sky Sports: "It is a contract issue.
"There should be no need [for the Board] to intervene. There is still time to resolve, which I'm sure it will be."
