Everything you need to know as boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez returns to the ring to defend his super middleweight titles against Edgar Berlanga on Sunday 15th September.
Canelo v Berlanga will take place on Sunday 15th September 2024.
Canelo and Berlanga are expected to walk to the ring at 04:00 BST on Sunday 15th September, but that could change depending on the length of the undercard fights.
The main card is due to start at 01:00 BST, with Canelo v Berlanga the main event of the evening.
Canelo and Berlanga will fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Paradise, Nevada.
Canelo has boxed at the iconic venue on the last two occasions he has entered the ring, while Berlanga last fought at the T-Mobile Arena in 2021.
The 2015 fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao was staged at the Vegas venue, and Canelo is no stranger to the arena, having fought nine times on the South Las Vegas Boulevard.
The fight will be broadcast live on subscription service DAZN, with an additional pay-per-view fee required to watch the bout.
The super-middleweight contest will be available in over 200 countries and can be viewed on several devices.
While Canelo no longer holds the IBF super-middleweight title after failing to meet the governing bodies' defence criteria, he still holds the WBC, WBA and WBO titles at 168lbs.
All three belts will be up for grabs against Berlanga, with the latter competing for a world title for the first time.
