Welsh unified welterweight world champion Lauren Price is targeting a homecoming fight later this year.
30-year-old Price added the WBC and IBF titles to her WBA and The Ring straps in March following an all-British showdown with Natasha Jonas at the Royal Albert Hall in London, prevailing via unanimous decision.
An Olympic champion, claiming gold for Great Britain at the Tokyo Summer Games in 2020, Price is now setting her sights for further honours in the professional ranks, with an undisputed showdown with WBO welterweight queen Mikaela Mayer mooted as a possibility.
Speaking to BBC Sport Wales, Price said:
There are massive fights out there for me. I am kind of the one who has the belts now.
"There is one more to get - maybe the fight against Mayer won't happen next.
"But whoever is out there in front of me, I will be 100% prepared and I will be keeping those belts in Wales."
Price's dominant victory over 'Miss GB' Jonas in March was her most impressive triumph to date, with her British rival a former unified light-middleweight champion.
Should Price fight back home in Cardiff later this year as she desires, she wishes to link up with a Welsh pop icon in the form of Tom Jones on fight night.
"I hear he is in Wales in August so I have got my PR team on to him," Price said.
"I know they have spoken to his son so I am hoping [he will be there] to sing me out.
"I love Tom, I have seen him a couple of times. He is a Welsh legend. To walk out to one of his songs would be a dream come true. I'd let him decide which one."
Still only nine fights into her professional career, Price has the potential to go down as one of the United Kingdom's best ever female fighters.
