Two fighters looking to get their respective careers back on track meet at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday, with Kieron Conway and Mark Jeffers both eager to impress.
Conway has not fought since October 2025, when his corner threw in the towel during his title fight with George Liddard.
Liddard became the British and Commonwealth middleweight champion with that victory and Conway is hoping he can get his hands back on the Lord Lonsdale belt in the next few months.
Jeffers has lost his last two fights and he will hope to have his hand raised after a disappointing 2025.

Fight fans should be in for a treat this weekend when Conway and Jeffers share the ring.
It seems like a long time since regular British-level fights propped up the rest of big domestic cards, and both men are going to put everything on the line in a fight that means so much to both.
Successive defeats at this stage of their careers are never a good thing, and a third loss in a row for Jeffers could leave him contemplating his future.
Conway only held the British title for five months, having beaten Gerome Warburton for the vacant strap in May. After a brutal war against Liddard, it was revealed that Conway had hurt his hand in the seventh round.
After recovering, he was set to fight Jeffers in April, but Conway withdrew due to illness.
Setbacks over the years have taken their toll on Conway, but he vowed to rearrange the contest and now Jeffers gets his chance to shine.
The 28-year-old raced to 20-0 at the start of his career, but he saw his progress come to a halt in June 2025 when he lost to Sean Hemphill. Four months later, he was stopped by Willy Hutchinson, and Jeffers now has a huge chance to get back into British title contention.
His defeat to Hutchinson was the first stoppage loss of his career and it remains to be seen if either fighter can return to their best after lengthy lay-offs.

Kieron Conway v Mark Jeffers Top Tips
Experience is huge in boxing and sometimes fighters need to lose to improve. Both Conway and Jeffers will hope this is the case, but Conway has already proven he can beat some of the best in his division at the domestic level.
Conway beat the durable Ryan Kelly to win the Commonwealth title in November 2024, while he outclassed Warburton and forced the opposite corner to throw in the towel.
The injury he suffered against Liddard was far from ideal, and he will claim that things would have gone differently.
He will need to exorcise some demons after his defeat, but Jeffers has not shared the ring with fighters of Conway's calibre before. Jeffers' best win came in July 2023 over Zak Chelli, but back-to-back defeats suggest he struggles when he steps up in class.
This bout promises to be brutal and a great watch for the neutral and there's every chance it goes the distance. While Conway has proven he can win at a higher level, he has only recorded seven knockout wins in 23 fights.
With so much at stake and a shot at the British title on his mind, he will not want to get carried away and make silly mistakes after such a long absence.
Jeffers has also stopped seven opponents in 20 outings, but his one stoppage defeat suggests he can hang in there when it gets tough.
Conway is the better boxer and should prove that after a brutal battle in Manchester.
