Fight Date

Cruz won by unanimous decision when he fought Fierro at the T-Mobile Arena in February and after producing an instant classic featuring a combined 1,410 punches, they are set for a speedy rematch.

The bout is due to take place on Saturday 19th July but with it being staged in Las Vegas, the eight-hour time difference means this fight is likely to start in the early hours of Sunday morning UK time.

Cruz vs Fierro II is third on the bill, so the timings are dependent on how long the previous bouts last. With Pacquiao vs Barrios scheduled for around 05:00 BST, the ring walks for this fight are expected to take place at approximately 03:00 BST.

July's rematch will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The previous bout took place across town at the T-Mobile Arena but while that is often the city's preferred venue for boxing, it is unavailable due to Lady Gaga performing three concerts across the weekend.
