Ben Whittaker made quick work of Liam Cameron as the two faced off in a long-awaited rematch on Easter Sunday, recording a savage second round stoppage.
Controversy has been ever-present in Whittaker's and Cameron's rivalry since their first fight in October 2024.
A technical split draw the first time that the two met in the ring, and question marks over whether the rematch was going to take place following a round dispute between the two camps.
A resolution was eventually found however, scheduling the fight for 10 rounds. Whittaker would need just two of them rounds to make his mark, halting Cameron after an onslaught of fierce punches.
It was what happened after the fight that sparked controversy this time round however, as Whittaker rushed to Cameron's corner to celebrate his victory.
While widely interpreted as disrespectful, read what Whittaker had to say to Sky Sports regarding his emphatic win and emotional celebration.
I just let my emotions out. A lot of people don't know what I've been through. A lot of people had a lot of things to say about me, was posting a lot about me.
"You saw my emotions after. I thought I could stop him. It was the emotion I've gone through. A lot of people had a lot to say. That was the hardest part, getting back in there after what happened.
"I'm just human, anything can happen, the one good thing I kind of like is, not a lot of people would have probably taken the rematch straightaway but I knew I could do that to him. I knew I could do that to him. So I wanted to show it straight away, I didn't want to be one of these fighters that [think] let me get an easy fight, get back in there."
Cameron was graceful in defeat when speaking to Sky Sports, stating: "I can't say a bad word about Ben. He's changed my life. It took two to tango. I put up a good fight the first one, got paid a fortune for this one.
"I'm not going to complain about anything. If I'm winning in life, boxing's just nothing, is it? Boxing's my job, I'm not going to take that [disappointment] into my normal life."
