Champions Birmingham City have secured a record League One points total following their 4-0 win over Mansfield Town on Sunday afternoon.
Goals from Keshi Anderson and Willum Willumsson gave the Blues a half-time lead against a Mansfield side who were completely outclassed in the Midlands.
Kieran Dowell and Tomoki Iwata found the net in the second half to seal a comfortable victory, which takes the club to a staggering tally of 105 points for the season.
The victory means that Birmingham have eclipsed Wolverhampton Wanderers' 2013/14 performance when Kenny Jackett guided the club to the League One title with 103 points.
Wolves won 31 matches that season and Birmingham have also surpassed that total by picking up their 32nd league victory of the season.
Whilst manager Chris Davies will be delighted to have joined an illustrious list of teams that have registered over 100 points in an EFL season and also broken the League One points record, there is still one record left to claim this season.
When Reading won the Championship in the 2005/06 season, they did so with 106 points, which is the highest amount of points that an EFL team has ever achieved.
Birmingham are now just one point away from that total and they have two games left to play.
Their first opportunity will come away at Blackpool on Wednesday evening, before a final day trip to relegated Cambridge United next weekend.
Victory in both matches would see the Blues end the season with 111 points, which would comfortably set a new EFL record.
