Birmingham City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign international winger Liam Millar from Hull City.
After coming off the bench as the Tigers travelled to Coventry City on Saturday, Millar opened the scoring in the closing stages to seal all three points for Hull.
However, just days after netting his first Premier League goal for the club it appears that Millar will soon be departing the MKM Stadium.
According to a report from journalist Alan Nixon, Birmingham City have had a bid accepted for the 26-year-old, with terms currently in the process being finalised ahead of the 11pm deadline.
The Tigers have strengthened significantly throughout the summer, with outspoken owner Acun Ilicali suggesting on Monday that there could still be as many as five new signings announced, in addition to the 13 Hull have already made this summer.
The signing of Millar would represent something of a coup for Birmingham as Chris Davies looks to build upon his side's unbeaten start to the Championship campaign.
Born in Toronto, Millar moved to the UK as a youth and spent time in Fulham's academy before joining Liverpool in 2016.
It was there that he was converted from a striker to a winger, with his pace, workrate and dribbling proving to be standout attributes on the flank.
Since making his senior international debut in 2018 Millar has earned 44 caps for Canada, and was part of squad that made history by reaching the round of 16 as co-hosts of the 2026 World Cup.
