Team GB's Bethany Shriever is 9/4 to defend her Olympic gold medal in Paris after ranking second in the quarter-finals.
Shriever was the quickest in all three runs in her heat, with her times only second to joint-favourite Saya Sakakibara.
It appears to be a three-way race for gold between Shriever, Sakakibara and Alise Willoughby - the American sharing favouritism with Australia's Sakakibara.
Shriever won gold in Tokyo in 2020, going on to win gold at the 2021 and 2023 World Championships in Arnhem and Glasgow respectively, as well as European gold in Dessel in 2022, making her the first woman to hold all three titles simultaneously.
If the 25-year-old can win gold it would be a remarkable story considering she surrendered her world title in May this year having broken her collarbone.
But whether it's gold, silver or bronze, Shriever looks set to add another medal to Team GB's haul.
