bet365 launch free-to-play Euros Fantasy Game with £100,000 prize pool

With the Euros in Germany now just around the corner, bet365 have launched a free-to-play fantasy football game with a total prize pool of £100,000.

The bet365 Free Fantasy Euros game will enable participants to select from a star-studded array of players competing at this summer's showpiece tournament, ranging from England's Jude Bellingham to France's Kylian Mbappe.

With a guaranteed total prize fund of £100,000 to be shared, the outright winner will come away with a mouth-watering £20,000 jackpot.

The contest will be played over seven Gameweeks – starting with the opening game between Germany and Scotland on 14th June 2024 - ending with the final on 14th July 2024.

This Euros Fantasy game is single-entry only, meaning users can enter just once per bet365 customer account.

bet365 Free Fantasy Euros rules:

• Entry to this contest is free and entries are limited to one per bet365 customer.
• You have a budget of £100m to build your Gameweek 1 Euros Fantasy squad.
• You can make unlimited changes to your team until Gameweek 1 starts.
• Your squad will consist of 15 players - two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders and three forwards.
• You can select a maximum of three players from a single Euros team in the first four Gameweeks. In Gameweek 5 you can select four players per team, six players per team in Gameweek 6 and eight players per team in Gameweek 7.
• The deadline for all team changes will be when the first match of each Gameweek kicks off.
• Your team will have a captain and vice captain. Your captain scores double points, and your vice captain will score double if your captain doesn't play.
• You have one Wildcard to use at any time. The Wildcard gives you unlimited free transfers for the Gameweek you activate it in.
• You have two free transfers in each of Gameweeks 2 & 3, and four free transfers to use in each of Gameweeks 4, 5, 6 & 7.
• Additional transfers will cost -4 points each.
• Transfers and team changes are provisional and take effect when each Gameweek starts. You can revert your changes up until the Gameweek deadline.
• Extra time and penalty shootouts are not included in the scoring.
• Player prices will not change during this Fantasy Game.
• The top 15,000 places will win a cash or free bet credit prize. The top 200 places win cash prizes - the rest are paid as free bet credits.

Players can also be deducted points in the following scenarios:

• Team is losing in the period player is on the pitch: -3 points

• Foul resulting in scored free kick: -2 points

bet365 Free Fantasy Euros transfers:

Managers will have the opportunity to continue upgrading and adapting their bet365 Free Fantasy Euros game squads throughout the tournament by using transfers and one Wildcard:

• The transfer period for each Gameweek opens immediately after each Gameweek deadline, which is set at the kick off time for the first match.
• Each team will have two free transfers in each of Gameweeks 2 & 3, and 4 free transfers to use in each of Gameweeks 4, 5, 6 & 7.
• Managers have one Wildcard to use at any time. The Wildcard gives managers unlimited free transfers until the next Gameweek deadline.
• Any unused free transfers will not be saved or rolled over to the next Gameweek. Any unused free transfers will be lost.
• If a manager opts to make more transfers than their available Free Transfers, they will be deducted points. For each extra transfer made, a -4 point hit will be issued.
• During a transfer period, all team modifications - including transfers, formation adjustments or wildcards - are preliminary and not final. This means managers can review, undo or reset these changes freely until each Gameweek deadline.
