Last year's winner Ottoman Fleet has been priced up at 9/4 to win the 2024 bet365 Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket Racecourse on Wednesday afternoon.
The 6/4 shot picked up his third victory on the Rowley Mile in 2023, before going on to win the Fort Marcy Stakes at Belmont Park the following month.
This season has seen three trips to Meydan on Turf and whilst he is yet to be first home this campaign, his second in the Jebel Hatta back in January was a solid performance in strong company.
A win in this year's race would see Ottoman Fleet join Terimon and Mull of Killough as two-time victors, while it would also be a third consecutive victory for jockey William Buick and trainer Charlie Appleby.
