Benjamin Sesko Injury Timeline: When is the Man Utd striker set to return

Manchester United striker Benjamin Sesko will be out of action until after the international break with a groin strain.

Sesko was absent from the Red Devils squad for their Premier League fixture away at bottom side Fulham on Sunday afternoon.

The 23-year-old started the midweek defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the EFL Cup before being taken off.

It has been revealed that Sesko has suffered a Grade 2 groin strain, which is an untimely blow after the Slovenian striker was beginning to find his feet this season.

We've taken a look at the earliest possible date that Sesko could return to first-team action for Man Utd.

When is Benjamin Sesko expected to return from injury?

Sesko is set to be out of action for at least the next three weeks.

As well as missing the trip to Fulham, Sesko will also be absent for Slovenia during the international break.

Michael Carrick's side entertain Tottenham Hotspur on October 10th, before travelling to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League three days later.

Both of those fixtures could come too soon for Sesko, with the trip to Leeds United on October 18th likely to be earmarked for a potential return.
