Beau Greaves became the first woman to hit a nine-darter on the PDC ProTour on route to a 6-5 victory over Mensur Suljovic.
Ranked first in the PDC Women's Series, Greaves puts forward a strong case for being the greatest female darts player on the planet at present, and she etched her name into the history books once again when becoming the first woman to hit a nine-darter on the PDC ProTour.
After defeating Chris Landman 6-5 to book her place in round two at the Leicester Arena, she would take on Serbia's Mensur Suljovic.
In just the third leg of the contest, Greaves took out 501 in just nine darts to break the throw, before going on to win the contest in narrow fashion.
Speaking to the PDC after her history-making moment, she said: "I couldn't believe I'd hit it! I just about hit the treble 19 and then I was quite confident that the double 12 was going in.
"I couldn't stop smiling because I couldn't wait to tell my dad, even though I knew he'd be watching it.
"I've narrowly missed hitting one a few times to it was nice to finally hit one. It's nice to be the first woman to hit one on the PDC ProTour, I'm glad it was on the stream as well.
"It was hard to get back into the game after I'd hit it, I was shaking afterwards. It was nerve-wracking but I managed to get the win in the end.
"I'm enjoying my start to life on the PDC ProTour, I've been struggling in patches with a bit of tension in my throw, but I am playing well and enjoying it.
"You're playing the best players in the world so if you lose a game, it's just a case of your opponent playing better than you on the day.”
Greaves dominated the women's circuit and made major progress in the PDC in 2025, and she was tasked with a first round contest against Daryl Gurney at the 2026 World Darts Championship.
She fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Northern Irishman, but gained the respect of the Ally Pally crowd in just her second Worlds campaign.
Women's darts has already come on leaps and bounds in recent years, and record-breaking "Beau 'n' Arrow" appears ready to take it to new levels.
