World number one Luke Littler is to front a new Netflix series that will see him play against members of the public.
The series, called "Beat Luke Littler," will see 20 amateur players challenge Littler, with a substantial £501,000 prize on offer to any of the participants who can defeat the 19-year-old prodigy in a single leg of 501.
The event will take place on 30th October 2026 and Littler launched the campaign through a video message on social media.
After addressing social media comments from individuals confident in their ability to beat him, Littler says: "Reckon you could beat me in a game of darts? Let's go."
In a statement announcing the show, Netflix wrote: "The rules are simple: one night, one chance, and one perfect leg of 501.
"If an amateur can defeat darts prodigy Luke Littler, they will walk away with a life-changing £501,000.
"Produced in partnership with the PDC, the governing body behind professional darts, the show will be rooted in the authentic world of competitive darts, bringing the sport's electric atmosphere live on Netflix.
"To kick off the launch, Netflix has officially opened the nationwide recruitment search to find the 20 competitors brave enough to step up."
How to enter 'Beat Luke Littler'
Those wishing to participate must visit the beatlukelittler.com website and register to express their interest.
In the registration, hopefuls are asked a series of questions, such as how long have they been playing darts and why they think they could beat Littler.
Open regional heats will be held in London and Manchester in September for those who want to be in with a chance of facing the two-time world champion.
Anybody aged 12 and over can apply for the series, although those aged under 18 attending open auditions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
