Dan Skelton's Be Aware is at the top of the market in the Coral Cup betting odds on the second day of the 2025 Cheltenham Festival.
The six-year-old, who will be ridden by Harry Skelton, has impressed in a series of near misses over the last 12 months.
A maiden victory at Newbury in January was followed up by finishing second in novice hurdle races at Lingfield and Kempton in the weeks that followed.
Be Aware finished his campaign by being narrowly edged out by Helnwein in the bet365 Novices' Championship Final at Sandown's Jump Season Finale in April.
This season he provided an impressive reappearance in the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham where again he was narrowly beaten as Burdett Road took the honours, but he finished ahead of the likes of Dysart Enos and Go Dante that day.
Be Aware has been kept fresh for Cheltenham since finishing third in a handicap at Ascot before Christmas and there is the expectation that the best is still to come.
He will also carry 10st 12lb in the Coral Cup, which is less weight than most of the other key contenders, including Ballyadam and Maxxum who will each carry a stone more.
